Joyce Johnson and family are homeowners
Joyce Johnson and her family dedicated their house to the service of the Lord on Sunday, February 13th, 2005 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. It was a beautiful ceremony complete with prayer, dedication, and a broom presentation from the Lions Club of Farmville. Farmville Area Habitat for Humanity is pleased to present Joyce Johnson as the newest homeowner in Farmville. Joyce wanted to personally thank all who were involved in the construction of her home in any way, shape, or form.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers, friends, and family members who put effort into helping me build my home. It’s a pleasure knowing there are so many warm-hearted people in this world. I would like to give a special thanks to the Habitat staff; especially those who worked so close with my family and me. Bill Harriss for his wisdom; Jayne Johnson for her patience and dedication; Harold Colvin for his willingness to always help me; Nan Colvin for her beautiful plants; and Melissa Matson for her hard work and friendly smile.
I’d like to thank everyone who came out and helped me celebrate my dedication day. It was a blessing. It’s a wonderful feeling, knowing you finally have a place to call “Home.”
Gracefully Submitted,
Joyce Johnson
